From the recording Reflections on the Human Spirit
<p>"Reflections on the Human Spirit" comes from the inspiration of the Artist viewing a painting. The colors and hues of the pond and sky brought forth an inner sense of tranquility which Maurice translated into an introspective musical piece. It begins with strings and deep bass sounds. Eventually a meditative piano joins with the bass sounds and the mind floats freely, dissolving the worldly concerns of the day. The calmness of the human spirit is present. The piece builds to end with piano and deeper bass reflecting the depth of the water in the pond.</p>
